MOT Test Exempions

6 month MOT test exemptions will be ending on the 01/08/2020

The Department for Transport has announced that the 6-month MOT exemption for cars, vans and motorcycles introduced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, will end on 1st August 2020.

If your vehicle expires before this date it will automatically receive a six month extension of its MOT date; but if it expires on the 1st August 2020 or after it will require testing as usual.

Please be aware that vehicles that have received the MOT test exemption must remain in a road worthy condition. It should also be noted that if the vehicle is tested and fails the exemption will be void.

Any further queries you may have regarding your MOT expiry date please don't hesitate to contact us!
